DIY Rice Face Mask for Glowing, Smooth Skin

Rice is not just a kitchen staple—it’s a skincare treasure. Rich in antioxidants, minerals, and natural brightening agents, rice has been used for centuries to soften, tighten, and illuminate the skin.

You’ll Need:

  • 2 tablespoons of white rice (organic, if possible)

  • 1 tablespoon of milk (plant-based or dairy)

  • 1 teaspoon of raw honey

How to Make It:

  1. Boil the Rice
    Cook the rice in water (without salt) until it’s soft. Drain it, but save the water – it’s rich in nutrients and can be used as a toner later!

  2. Mash the Rice
    Mash the warm rice with a spoon or blend it into a smooth paste.

  3. Mix in the Milk & Honey
    Add the milk and honey to the rice paste. Mix well until you get a creamy, thick consistency.

  4. Apply to Face
    Using clean fingers or a brush, apply the mask to a clean, dry face. Avoid the eye area.

  5. Relax for 15–20 Minutes
    Let the mask sit and do its magic. Breathe deeply, light a candle—make it a ritual.

  6. Rinse Off Gently
    Use lukewarm water and circular motions to rinse the mask off. Pat your skin dry with a soft towel.

After rinsing, use the saved rice water as a toner with a cotton pad—it helps tighten pores and leaves a soft glow.
